About the business
Kiruna Area Processing is undergoing an organizational change to drive the transformation of our industry towards a sustainable future. We need to develop our maintenance to remain a reliable producer of iron ore. In the future organization, we need managers and leaders who want to be involved in influencing and developing our company LKAB through greater focus on our core business, where you as a manager work for an inclusive and relationship-oriented leadership based on trust. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in building the new organization and together develop the refinement process.

Your role

As Group Head of Real Estate, your main responsibility is to lead and organize the work with real estate across the entire processing chain. You will be part of the new maintenance organization and lead a team consisting of Preparers, Technicians and Maintenance Engineers. Your responsibilities:

  • Personnel and health and safety responsibility for your team.

  • Budgetary responsibility, forecasting responsibility and responsible for cost follow-up for property maintenance and common facilities.

  • Ensure that long-term maintenance plans are drawn up and followed (interval maintenance and reinvestment needs).

  • Manages buildings and other common facilities.

  • Responsible for developing the skills needs of the organization.

  • Ensures that the properties meet the necessary safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensures, together with the machine owner, that the properties and common facilities are clean and organized according to 5S both indoors and outdoors.

  • Cooperates and has networks with reliable contractors together with the central organization within LKAB.

You should have a willingness to develop your leadership skills, and we will provide both training and support to help you in your role.


In addition to this, you will need to have:

  • B driving license

  • Good secondary school grades

Scope: Full-time with daytime hours.
