Processing in Kiruna is undergoing an organizational change to drive the transformation of our industry towards a sustainable future. We need to develop our maintenance to continue to be a reliable producer of iron ore. In the future organization, we are looking for employees and leaders who want to be involved and influence and develop LKAB through greater focus on our core business.

Your role
As sub-project manager for Storstopp, you are part of a project group that manages the planned stops in the pellet and enrichment plants. You will work closely with the main project manager and independently lead construction and civil engineering work within your technical area. You are responsible for making the stops safe, efficient and cost-effective. As sub-project manager, you hold the role of construction manager/BAS-U during the project and are the project's contact person at the construction site. Your duties include:

  • Involved in planning and coordination regarding time, function and finances.

  • Convene and lead meetings specific to the project.

  • Provide the construction organization with the required information and documentation and check that the construction work is carried out in a systematic and structured manner.

  • Ensure that work environment work is carried out systematically and continuously at the workplace.

  • Check deliveries and completed work as well as follow up and document the work with regard to time, function and finances.

  • Reporting to main project manager (BAS-P).

You are committed, outgoing, flexible and structured and a skilled problem solver. You have good communication skills and find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships with others. You are sensitive to other people's thoughts and ideas, dare to make decisions and appreciate order and order.


Meritorious:

  • A BAS-P/BAS-U education

  • Automation background

  • Post-secondary education

  • Experience from project management, project work, construction projects or similar


Requirement:

  • B driver's license

  • Secondary school education
