LKAB processing Kiruna:

Kiruna Ore Processing's mission is to process the ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are screening, enrichment and pelletization. The department consists of a total of eight sections, four of which are part of the main process and the other four are support sections in quality, technology and process development, material processes and Water and Dams. Your role:

As a KMA Coordinator with us at Enrichment (KA1/KA2), you will work closely with the business with both strategic and operational work environment work. You will be part of the enrichment management team and play an important role in our efforts to develop a strong safety culture. Together with us, you will identify and prioritize development and improvement measures to achieve our goal of a 100% safe and healthy work environment.

In the systematic work environment work, you act as our competence support, where you assist with information and interpretation of laws and regulations and hold simple work environment training. You plan and participate in safety rounds, risk assessments and investigations and ensure that these processes maintain high quality. Part of your working time will be spent out in our enrichment plants to build up a good understanding of our process flows and facilities, and to deepen your competence in the work environment linked to these.

You will also be responsible for contacts with authorities in the work environment area.

What you bring with you:

We are looking for you who are genuinely interested in working towards a safe and healthy work environment. The work involves close cooperation with our managers and employees and you therefore need to be present, responsive and communicative. The role requires you to work in a structured way and feel confident in making demands on managers, employees and contractors. You will work in a broad field of work and you therefore need to have a good ability to prioritize your tasks so that you get a long-term sustainable working day.

We would like you to have an education in the field of work environment from college or university, but it is not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have good knowledge and relevant work experience. Previous experience of work environment work, both in the physical and the organizational and social environment, is meritorious.

To qualify for the position, approved upper secondary school grades, a B driving license and good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, are required.

The position includes periods of on-call, which are currently scheduled to approximately every ten weeks.
