The mission of the community transformation is to ensure land access with good foresight to secure LKAB's mining operations and growth plans. This means that about one third of the population of Malmfälten, corresponding to 10,000 people, will be gradually relocated. In total, about 5,000 homes and 700,000 square meters of residential and commercial space will be replaced within the framework of the community transformation.

Your role

We are now looking for a KMA coordinator within the staff of the community transformation. The staff works mission-driven with project management, administrative support that quality assures the entire unit's management system, working methods and routines and assists the unit manager in leading the business.

The position we appoint constitutes a targeted support for the work with KMA work within LKAB Community Transformation and within the management of LKAB Real Estate.

The main task of the holder is to support the management team within LKAB Community Transformation including the project organization and LKAB Real Estate with:

  • Lead development, adaptation, planning and coordination regarding KMA
  • Assist management regarding legal compliance and interpret legal requirements for the business and within this implement and develop routines and working methods regarding KMA
  • Within the project activities UKP and UKM assist Section Managers and their organizations in matters of quality, environment, work environment, plant safety and CE
  • On behalf of the unit participate in LKAB:s overall forum and network for KMA work

The holder has the primary responsibility to support the management and organization's KMA work so that this can be planned, controlled and managed according to relevant laws and regulations, LKAB's project guide and procedures and policies.

Your main tasks are to:

  • Support the management and their organizations in both line and project work so that planning and coordination are ensured regarding KMA
  • Work with and carry out targeted controls of the KMA work within the organization's projects
  • Assist and support the own project organization
  • Continuously report the outcome of the KMA work to the management teams within the Community Transformation and LKAB Real Estate
  • Assist with goals for the KMA work, follow up on these and develop working methods and the process
  • Keep informed about applicable laws, regulations, policies, agreements, procedures and instructions

This is what you have with you

  • Education with a focus on work environment, environment and quality
  • B-driving license
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • BAS-P and BAS-U are meritorious
  • Practical work experience of working with work environment, environment and quality and experience of working in projects is meritorious
