LKAB Malmtrafik

LKAB Malmtrafik is responsible for loading, unloading and transportation of LKAB's iron ore products on the Ore Line. We transport from the mines in Kiruna and Malmberget to the ports in Luleå and Narvik, and to SSAB in Luleå.

Your role

Your work includes both preventive and emergency maintenance, inspections to ensure road safety, as well as problem solving and component replacements. Quite simply, keeping our unique IORE locomotives in top condition. The workplace is characterized by routine and structure. You are responsible for ensuring that the work and documentation meet LKAB and the Swedish Transport Administration's requirements for traffic safety, which means that you need to be careful, committed and responsible.

Together with a dedicated team, you contribute to safety and operational reliability in our logistics chain. We do this with a team of repairers, engineers, planners and managers. Together you form a key function for LKAB. The service offers development opportunities through external and internal training.

What you bring with you

We are looking for you who are meticulous and work in a structured way with a focus on details. You have a systematic approach and appreciate working with clear goals and routines. Checking off lists and keeping tasks in order gives you a sense of satisfaction, and you make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Your ability to organize and follow up means that you always deliver with high quality.

  • High school education preferably with a practical focus in electricity, mechanics, vehicles or equivalent
  • B driving license
  • Professional experience in electricity/automation, control and regulation, hydraulics or pneumatics (meritorious)
  • Professional experience in railways (meritorious)

The position requires you to meet certain health requirements such as good vision, normal color vision and good hearing.
