About Kiruna Processing

Kiruna Ore Processing's mission is to process the ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are screening, enrichment and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, four of which are part of the main process and the other four are support sections in quality, technology and process development, material processes and water and dams. About the position

You now have the opportunity to take on a very rewarding and stimulating job as a Maintenance Engineer with us at the processing plant 3 and ball sintering plant 4 (KA3/KK4). In this role, you will be one of the key people in the work to increase the reliability and availability of the plants in collaboration with other groups within the business.

Your main duties will include:

• Lead the strategic development of maintenance in the pellet plant by continuously analyzing and tracking root causes affecting reliability and availability.
• Solving technical issues.
• Participate in projects as a technical expert from the business.
• Be part of the improvement team, sometimes also as leader of this team.

To ensure your development and success in the role, you will be assigned a mentor/supervisor with whom you will work on a daily basis.

To thrive in the role, you need to be analytical, responsible and structured. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.

In addition to this, you need to have:

• Upper secondary education
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• B-driving license, which is a requirement for all positions at LKAB

It is meritorious if you have:

• Civil or university engineering degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or maintenance.
• Relevant professional experience as, for example, technician, operator, or leader in maintenance.
