About Kiruna Processing
Kiruna Ore Processing's mission is to process ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are screening, enrichment and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, four of which are part of the main process and the other four are support sections in quality, technology and process development, material processes and water and dams. About the position
Now you have the opportunity to take a very rewarding and stimulating job as a Maintenance Engineer with us at the processing's coal interplant 4 (KK4). In this role, you will be one of the key people in the work to increase the reliability and availability of the plants in collaboration with other groups within the business.

Duties

  • Lead the strategic development of maintenance in the pellet plant by continuously analyzing and tracking failure causes that affect operational reliability and availability.
  • Solve technical issues.
  • Participate in projects as a technical expert from the business.
  • Be part of the improvement group, sometimes even as the leader of this group.
  • Responsible for the budget linked to the maintenance work.

You value building good relationships and contributing to a positive working environment. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities and your ability to work effectively both independently and in teams.

In addition to this, you need to have an upper secondary education and good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing. A B-driving license is a requirement for all positions at LKAB. It is meritorious if you have a civil or university engineering degree or relevant professional experience in maintenance. Experience of the pelletization process, IFS and MS Office is also meritorious.
