LKAB Malmtrafik is responsible for loading, unloading and transporting LKAB's iron ore products on the Ore Line. We transport from the mines in Kiruna and Malmberget to the ports in Luleå and Narvik, and to SSAB in Luleå.

Your role

We are now looking for a dedicated maintenance manager for our maintenance group at the terminal in Vitåfors who will work with the preparation and distribution of maintenance at our fixed facilities, which includes loading / unloading facilities and rail. The maintenance system IFS is an important tool in your work.

You will coordinate maintenance against current rail transport in close cooperation with other groups within Malmtrafik. You work in a small management group where good communication and dialog between you and other internal and external parties is required. The work includes ensuring safety and coordination during work carried out. As a maintenance manager, you report to the production manager maintenance and also act as a substitute for this in the event of temporary absence.

The tasks mainly consist of:

• Preparing and scheduling work tasks for the maintenance staff
• Ensure that maintenance staff have the right equipment and conditions for the performance of a task
• Leading daily pulse meetings and distributing maintenance work in agreement with our production manager
• Ensure that planned maintenance actions are carried out in a timely manner and to the extent required
• In dialog with the PC, ensure that staffing is in place to carry out the maintenance
• Ensure that coordination between internal and external staff works
• Developing contacts with internal and external clients

What you bring with you

You will have the ability to lead others and to allocate and follow up on tasks. You are structured and have an administrative aptitude. You work independently and can plan your own time well. You are confident, have good cooperation skills and good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

We expect you to have:

• B-driving license
• Secondary education

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of the laws and regulations involved in working on the railway
• Previous experience in maintenance
• Previous experience in maintenance of electrical installations
• Previous experience in track maintenance
• Leadership training or if you have previously worked in management
