Your role

The Kiruna Gruva Bergtransport (KGB) section's main task is to transport and crush raw ore in accordance with set production and quality targets. We ensure that the ore is delivered from the mine to the Sovringsverket in a safe and sustainable manner. Our area of responsibility also includes maintenance of fixed installations, from tapping and track level to crushing and the conveyor system. The section consists of approximately 190 employees spread over seven workplaces, where operation, maintenance and process control are the main tasks.

As an Operator at Kiruna Gruva Bergtransport (KGB), your central role is to ensure smooth and safe operations by remotely controlling the trains and loading train cars underground. You will also be an important resource during maintenance stops, assisting with various types of technical maintenance, such as flushing, cleaning and sweeping the switches to ensure that the equipment is working optimally. We look for you to have a collaborative attitude and enjoy working in a team. You are solution-oriented and able to quickly address problems that arise, while remaining stable and focused even under pressure. We attach great importance to personal suitability.

What you bring with you

• Good secondary school grades are required
• B driving license is a requirement
• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish is a requirement
• Mining experience is an advantage
• Computer skills are an advantage
