Your role
We are looking for a responsible and structured planner/preparer who will work with the planning and preparation of the operational maintenance of the Svappavaara processing plant. You will work independently, while collaborating with other professionals in the field.
As a planner/preparer, you will work closely with the maintenance manager and together with inspectors, mechanics and lubricators, you will play an important role in the maintenance work of the processing plants. We are a small group that has a strong community and short contact paths, which means opportunities to influence and participate in shaping and developing working methods and your working day.
Your everyday life as a planner/preparer:
- Planning of daily operation and maintenance efforts in our business
- Preparations of planned work and ensuring that materials are available
- Coordination and contact with external and internal suppliers and performers
- Documentation in our maintenance system.
This is what you bring
We are looking for you who are interested in maintenance and like to take responsibility. It is also important that you take initiative and can work in a structured way. It is meritorious if you have experience from similar work or as a mechanic, but the most important thing is that you are interested and willing to learn.
- Approved upper secondary education
- Good computer skills
- B-driving license
- Speaking and writing skills in Swedish

LKAB's open-cast mines are located in Svappavaara, four miles southeast of Kiruna. In these open-cast mines, we extract iron ore and waste rock by drilling and blasting, and then load, crush and screen the ore into a raw material for pellet production.
