Your role

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing our production processes to achieve the highest quality and desired speed. Your main tasks include:

• You are responsible for analyzing production data and outage statistics to identify areas for improvement and propose process changes.
• You monitor production by compiling annual, monthly and weekly reports and reporting disruptions to internal customers such as the mine and the processing plant.
• The role also includes working closely with various customers to ensure that the raw ore/raw material is of the right quality. You will keep track of stockpile levels and adapt production to upcoming changes, as well as act as a contact person for preventive maintenance (FU stops).
• You will train operators to optimize plant operations and participate in improvement projects to increase both speed and quality in production.
• You will be part of the management team for the section in the dressing plant.

This is what you bring with you

Knowledge of LKAB's ore processing process and competence in automation is meritorious, but not a requirement. We would like to see that you have an interest in and/or experience from similar operations / industry / production. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

• B-driving license (manual) is a requirement
• Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement
• More meritorious is if you have a university degree with a focus on mineral technology, chemistry and/or metallurgy or any technical background
• Knowledge of Office (meritorious)
• Prior knowledge of the ABB800xA and IP21 systems (meritorious)
