We are looking for a dedicated, innovative and responsible Production Supervisor - Drilling who optimizes, prioritize and manage the day-to-day work in the production drilling, open hole drilling and special drilling workplaces in Malmbergets underground mine (MUJ).

Your role

A job where you have the opportunity to shape and make your own mark - all to minimize disruption and create efficient production processes. In the role, you will, in collaboration with the production manager, employees and development engineers, coordinate, follow up and develop the work in the quarrying with a focus on drilling. Examples of tasks and responsibilities include planning of drilling sites in collaboration with mine planning as well as control, follow-up and deviation management of the drilling processes with regard to quality, quantity and economy.

In addition to the above:

  • Be the drill steel manager for all drill steel used in the area of responsibility

  • Participate in the establishment of daily/weekly/monthly/annual plan for production drilling, opening drilling, spec drilling

  • Responsible for certain development, project and investment work in collaboration with the development engineer.

  • Responsible for holding maintenance meetings with production manager, workshop and external suppliers

  • Responsible for service agreements and the follow-up of these

What you bring with you

We are looking for you with long experience and solid knowledge in drilling and preferably see that you have a college or university education. Further training in drilling is an advantage. Deep knowledge of the quarrying process is a requirement, and other experience in rock work is a merit. You are fluent in both Swedish and English.

As a person, you are safety conscious and careful. You are unpretentious and have a good ability to collaborate across borders with different work groups, individuals and suppliers. You are confident, able to lead groups and make and implement decisions. Your willingness to develop processes is a key to success.
