Your work tasks
In your role as Production Manager, you will be stationed at our workshop MCV inside LKAB's industrial area where you will have overall responsibility for machining and welding. You will lead subordinate staff in their daily work with a focus on work environment, safety and development work.
In the workshop, you are three production managers who jointly run MCV. You will work closely together and support each other to run and develop our business as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Your work will largely involve daily management of operational issues in consultation with staff and customers. This is combined with other tasks that include discussing strategic issues to build a development-oriented and self-sustaining business in accordance with the company's mission and overall goals.
Who are you?
To thrive in this role, you enjoy working closely with people and creating a sense of belonging and community. You have a participative leadership style. Experience working in production flows from manufacturing industry is an advantage. You have experience of working in business systems and planning and structure come naturally to you.
