Your role

As a project coordinator, you will ensure that the project is run efficiently by coordinating documentation, administering processes and providing support in planning, follow-up and communication. The work is done in close cooperation with project managers and clients within the business area.

The position is located in the Mining and Operations Support Projects section in Kiruna. Our area of responsibility extends from underground projects right up to our dams. The section consists of 16 employees who are divided into the positions of project manager, project coordinator and construction manager. We are a pure project organization and we have a broad competence and a positive, warm collegial atmosphere where we help each other solve problems and find new challenges. The main tasks of the Project Coordinator are to:

  • Ensure that established procedures, templates and checklists are used in the project
  • Manage and coordinate document management and technical documentation in the project
  • Prepare purchases
  • Follow-up of project finances
  • Assist in the distribution of drawings and other essential information
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of tender documents, tenders and contracts
  • Assist the project in coordinating resources
  • Administer project tools
  • Contact stakeholders, authorities, suppliers and other professionals
  • Independently handle limited issues / assignments that arise during the project

This is what you bring with you

  • Secondary education
  • Experience in administrative work
  • Good language skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • B-driving license for manual transmission
  • Knowledge of different forms of contracting and procurement (meritorious)
  • Post-secondary education and experience of working in projects (meritorious)

Furthermore, you have an ability to quickly understand the big picture and find logical connections in complex information. You work independently, plan and organize your work well, complete tasks on time and meet deadlines. With your collaborative and unpretentious approach, you find solutions that benefit the common goal and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. You are used to working in an environment with many interfaces and stakeholders where good communication is essential.
