within the Iron Ore business area works to ensure that LKAB can conduct and develop sustainable operations in a responsible manner. We are now looking for a project manager for the Environmental Permits section, whose mission is to work to ensure that LKAB receives permits under the Environmental Code for the needs of the business. Today, the section consists of seven project managers and coordinator support, but we work closely with other experts, both internally and externally.

As a project manager, your main task is to initiate and run environmental investigations and projects linked to environmental permit applications. The role of project manager is broad and varies depending on the assignment.

What you bring to the table

As a project manager, you have many internal and external contacts, which requires you to be a self-starter with a natural ability to communicate. You can work well with others and build good relationships. We value a solution-oriented approach and that you are confident as a person, have good work structure and that you are good at planning.

We expect you to have:

  • University/college education, preferably in the environmental field
  • Experience of project work and experience of working with permits and environmental legislation
  • Good language skills in Swedish and English
  • B-driving license, which is required for all positions at LKAB

Location: Kiruna, Malmberget or Svappavaara. Possibly also stationing in Luleå or Narvik may be possible.
