Your role

LKAB's Department for Community Transformation in Malmberget has the task of ensuring land access to secure LKAB's mining operations and growth plans. The department is divided into three sections where Transactions is responsible for the acquisition of properties, agreements with companies, process support for those who are to move, and create project orders.

The work includes, among other things:

• Property acquisition, where the overall mission is to buy the properties that the mine needs for LKAB to be able to secure continued mining operations
• With the support of LKAB's compensation model, offer compensation to the affected property owners through either monetary compensation or via a replacement property that LKAB builds
• The relocation of companies, authorities and organizations. This means ensuring that replacement premises are available for the businesses that need to move, but also concluding agreements on the new premises and ensuring the transition to these

Our project managers work independently in a leading role and have a great deal of freedom to plan and procure resources for the implementation of the projects, but at the same time have a great responsibility to deliver the required function within the allocated framework.

What you bring to the table

• We are looking for you with a university/college education, preferably with a technical, land/environmental or civil engineering focus or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
• B driving license
• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience from negotiation, the real estate industry, real estate law issues, community building, project management or other senior positions is an advantage but not a requirement

To thrive in this role, you are a structured and confident person with good problem-solving skills. You are able to plan and carry out your work independently and have good prioritization skills. As a project manager for the social transformation, you will have many contacts, so you will need to be a good communicator. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
