LKAB Malmtrafik

LKAB Malmtrafik is responsible for loading, unloading and transporting LKAB's iron ore products on the Ore Line. We ship from the mines in Kiruna and Malmberget to the ports of Luleå and Narvik, as well as to SSAB in Luleå.

Your role

You will be part of our whole and contribute to the smooth running of our high-tech mining and mineral group. This requires you to work carefully and with a strong safety mindset. Together with your colleagues, you will reliably take responsibility for preventive and corrective maintenance of ore wagons at LKAB Malmtrafik's wagon workshop in Kiruna. You work independently and take your own initiatives while having good cooperation skills and dialog with other functions. We believe in you and your capacity and give you both confidence and freedom to develop and develop.

Your main duties include:

  • Maintenance work in the form of overhaul, revision and repair of ore cars according to current drawing and maintenance instructions
  • Salvage work after the line
  • Follow documented quality routines and perform road safety inspections according to the Swedish Transport Agency's regulations
  • Report work performed in our maintenance system Maximo

This is what you bring with you

  • High school education preferably with an industrial focus or equivalent
  • B driving license as it is a requirement for all LKAB:s services
  • You have a high safety mindset, are communicative and work in a structured way
  • Master the Swedish language in speech and writing
  • Work experience of maintenance work or maintenance systems (meritorious)

The position requires that you meet certain health requirements such as good vision, normal color vision and good hearing.
