Are you interested in being part of the development of climate-smart and sustainable iron ore processes? We are looking for research engineers in NOx and sulfur removal who want to be part of LKAB's strategic transition towards a fossil-free future. In your role, you will be part of a newly formed team that analyzes and develops solutions to minimize emissions and meet future environmental permits. This transition requires new technologies that both reduce carbon dioxide emissions and manage increased emissions of other substances, especially NOx.
You will collaborate with experts in various fields - engineers, environmental lawyers, and project managers - to ensure that our processes are at the forefront of environmentally friendly technology. Your analysis and problem solving will be critical to reducing emissions and meeting the environmental demands of the industry.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to see the big picture and consider the wider perspective is central to the role. Working independently, being analytical and seeing logic and connections in complex information are important qualities. You are responsible, with a good balance between structure and flexibility, enabling you to adapt to changing circumstances.
