Your tasks

Our operations in Kiruna underground mine, has a need for new employees. We are now looking for rock workers with scrap metal skills who will mainly work with drifting / rock reinforcement. After your training period, you will work independently with tasks such as scrapping, cleaning, drilling, bolting and loading. Together with the other miners in the team, you will be responsible for an important part of the mining cycle.

We are looking for you who are easy to take your own initiative, enjoy working independently and goal-oriented under a leadership where you get to take great responsibility. Mining work and experience in local driving and blasting licenses are meritorious, special emphasis is placed on previous scrap competence but is not a requirement as we train our staff internally.

To thrive in the role, you should enjoy working underground.

The position requires a B driving license and approved high school grades.

The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) is tightening the control of employees who handle explosives. The new law came into force on August 1, 2021 and affects employees who handle explosives. If you move forward in our recruitment process, MSB will conduct an individual suitability test for work with explosives.
