LKAB's open pit mines are located in Svappavaara, four miles southeast of Kiruna. In these open-cast mines, we extract iron ore by drilling, blasting, and then crushing and screening the ore into a raw material for pellet production. Your role

In this important and safety-oriented position, you are responsible for maintaining and developing a systematic fire protection work and ensuring that the technical equipment for fire alarm systems works optimally. The role as a service worker includes supporting the business in safety rounds, risk assessments and planned maintenance stops (FU stops). A key part of your role is to act as expert support to our customers in the systematic fire protection work, for example through training, supervision and checks.

You also handle troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, which includes fixing incoming error reports, carrying out regular checks and ensuring that all technical equipment for fire alarms works flawlessly. You contribute to creating safety and security through systematic and proactive fire protection work that supports the entire business.

  • B-driving license
  • Swedish in speech and writing
  • Experience with low-current installations (meritorious)
