Your role

During the summer, we need the help of positive and committed people who can replace our regular staff in Luleå Malmhamn when they go on vacation. Malmhamnen in Luleå is covered by a Bentonite plant and a port facility.

In the Bentonite plant, you work with grinding and drying bentonite, loading train wagons and maintaining the company's facility. The tasks in the Bentonite plant consist of storing, drying, grinding, loading and testing bentonite as well as mechanical and electrical maintenance. Other tasks may also occur.

The operations in Malmhamnen consist mainly of unloading trains and loading barges and boats with LKAB's products, as well as maintenance of the company's facilities. The tasks as a Port Worker consist of working as a ship loader operator, control room operator or sampler and with mechanical and electrical maintenance.

This is what you bring

To fit the role of a vacation substitute with us, you thrive on taking responsibility and you always have a high safety mindset. Whether you are working in a team or independently, you should have good cooperation and communication skills.

• Approved upper secondary education
• Command Swedish in speech and writing
• At least 18 years of age
• Taken a B-driving license well before the start of the temporary position
• Work experience or training from similar activities, electricity or mechanics (meritorious)

Start: May/June 2025

Location: Sandskär, Luleå Malmhamn

Scope: Full-time, we are looking for both shift workers and daytime substitutes
