About the business

Malmberget's ore processing mission is to process the ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are screening, enrichment and pelletizing.

Your role

We are looking for a technician for the real estate grouping with a focus on plant safety at the operations service in Malmberget.

Plant safety includes responsibility for our facilities and buildings regarding the following points

  • Outer shell with roof, walls
  • Everything inside the facilities regarding personal safety that is not pure process and its machines, objects.

As a technician, you work with your colleagues on continuous and preventive maintenance of our facilities in order to strengthen the business in terms of plant safety, function, availability in a long-term sustainable way. This means that you initiate, plan and carry out controls, supervision and inspections and measures on deviations in our facilities with emphasis on the property and plant stock above ground. The work is done independently and in groups.

What you bring to the table

Communication, initiative and cooperation skills, as well as the ability to work in a structured and independent manner are important qualities. You show commitment by taking initiative and you are used to taking responsibility. The person we are looking for has a keen interest in maintenance and is committed and goal-oriented. You have an approved degree at least at upper secondary level, you have a technical education or equivalent experience, preferably with a focus on construction and real estate.

  • Experience of construction management, property maintenance, inspections, supervision in construction and industrial equivalent is an advantage.

  • A B driving license is a requirement.
