The most important job of the future

We want to lead the transformation of our industry towards a sustainable future. Just as we want to change the world, we want to develop everyone who joins us on this journey, personally and professionally. Do you want to help shape the future of the world's mining and minerals industry?

Your role

We are now looking for a technician for the Agglomeration Laboratory, which is a central part of LKAB's research on refining processes and the transition to carbon dioxide-free pellet production.

In the role, you combine practical work with theoretical elements and work with several tasks in electricity, instruments, systems and control. These include maintenance, troubleshooting and documentation. In the role you will also work with forklift and overhead crane handling which can be physically demanding, training for this you will receive in the service. Problem solving and calibration are key parts of the job, as is the willingness to learn specialized equipment.

What you bring to the table

You are a problem solver who prioritizes safety, quality and sustainable solutions. You are motivated by challenges, adapt quickly and work both independently and in teams.

  • Upper secondary education with a focus on electricity, technology or other equivalent education
  • Experience in electricity, automation, mechanics and documentation
  • B driving license
  • You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English

This is what you get

A stimulating and exciting workplace where you work with cutting-edge high-tech equipment. You will be part of a family team with committed and competent colleagues, where you together influence the business and work for a future mining and mineral industry. In addition, you also get

  • Motivation programs that reward success
  • Health care and study support, as well as access to an art association, leisure club, mountain huts and family activities
  • Enhanced parental allowance of up to 90% of your regular salary for up to six months (after one year of employment)
  • Help and support in the event of illness or in matters of work environment, health, wellness and rehabilitation
  • Protective and terminal glasses and reimbursement for dental care
  • Possibility to apply for study grants for both you and your children
  • Opportunity to join our pension and insurance program with preferential rates
