Your role

In the role of Technology Developer you will contribute to the development of new solutions to optimize machines and equipment while working on strategic machine investments. You will be part of the Kiruna Rasbrytning section where you work closely with production managers and other colleagues. You will also be part of the management team for Kiruna Gruva Rasbrytning. As a Technology Developer, your main responsibility is to:

  • Drive projects in machine and product development to improve safety, efficiency and sustainability.

  • Identify needs for and plan machine investments in close collaboration with production and maintenance teams.

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and innovative solutions for mining and process engineering.

  • Serve as technical specialist in procurement and in contact with suppliers.

  • Manage budget work related to projects and machinery investments.

  • Proactively keep abreast of new technologies and solutions in the market that can benefit quarrying and mining.

What you bring

We are looking for you who have a strong technical background and a genuine interest in innovation and development. You are a structured and solution-oriented team player with the ability to drive projects forward. We see the following qualifications as important for the role:

  • High school education is a requirement, preferably with a focus on industry, automotive, economics or another education that we consider equivalent.

  • B driving license for manual transmission is a requirement.

  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

  • Experience of working with technical equipment is meritorious.

  • Experience of working with finance and budget is meritorious.
