Your role

Working as a substitute guide at LKAB is a fun and stimulating assignment. The service is very varied and includes guiding in Swedish or English. Our visits focus on the transition to carbon-free processes and products, environment and social transformation

:

  • Preparing, planning and implementing guided visits, with associated administration.
  • Work actively with your colleagues to further develop the visit activities.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in our activities.
  • Manage the daily supervision of our visitor facilities and the visitor mine, including technical equipment and vehicles.

What you bring with youWe are

looking for you who are prepared to take a great deal of personal responsibility, have an ability to see the big picture with the visit and are flexible in your approach. To thrive with us, you like to provide very good service, are responsible and take your own initiative. You have high social skills, are educational in your storytelling and are a good ambassador for the company as you are also the face of LKAB's brand during the visits. You have a genuine passion for interacting with people and offering service at a high level with the customer in focus.

Furthermore, the position requires that you:

  • Have at least a high school education, preferably with a focus on tourism or similar.
  • Have experience in guiding or other service-related professions.
  • Have a very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
  • Are comfortable with the Office package and technical equipment.
  • Have a B driving license.
