Your role
We are looking for an industrial fitter for the Processing department in Malmberget. The role is a temporary position that extends until August 2025. As an industrial fitter, you work with emergency and planned repairs of pipelines for water, compressed air and freight lines. You work with the assembly of pipelines such as stainless steel pipes. You also work with the repair and replacement of valves, which are located in many places in the plants, as well as the prefabrication of pipe fittings, bends, etc. In addition to this, you work with the registration of work orders and error reports in the IFS business system.

We are looking for you who have a strong interest in learning and who take their own initiative to develop. You dare to ask for help when needed, absorb the knowledge of others and share your own. You collaborate well both within your team and with other professionals. In addition, you have the ability to see the big picture in your work and have a high level of safety awareness. Plant knowledge, experience of maintenance work and work in heavy industry is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience of stick (MMA) welding, TIG and MIG welding is an advantage, especially if you can weld in stainless steel, but not a requirement.

Scope: Full-time, rolling shifts with daytime without weekends, daytime with weekends and week off.
