Your role
For the summer of 2025, we are looking for you to work as a substitute underground loader in the Kiruna mine when our regular staff goes on vacation. The loading is a workplace belonging to the Kiruna Mine Loading section, where our workplace consists of manual and remote loading. As a loader driver, you load ore with a loader from pushed racks to shafts, this is done manually or remotely.
You will start with a 10-week training that includes both theory and supervised practice. Once the training is completed, you are then welcome back for the summer period. There may be a chance to start immediately after training, but there are no guarantees.
Planned training starts in v2, v7, v12 and v17. Please indicate in your application which period would suit you best.
What you bring
To succeed and thrive in the role, you need to have a commitment and a willingness to learn new things. You are a positive and results-oriented person who enjoys working in a team but is also comfortable working alone. As we handle large machines, safety thinking and being able to keep calm is very important.
Application information
The recruitment process runs from November to February.
