The Department of Prevention and Coping has a vacancy for an occupational therapist.
The department is part of Home-based services. It is an interdisciplinary department, consisting of: Occupational therapy and physiotherapy service, Allocation team, assistive technology technician and BPA.
We aim to facilitate increased mastery for citizens and provide good quality services for those who need it. It is important for the individual and for society to make use of the resources, abilities and opportunities that citizens themselves have to master everyday life.

Work tasks
- Follow-up of both children and adults
- Mapping and facilitating mastery, activity and participation in the home and close surroundings
- Assistance and follow-up in relation to rehabilitation
- Testing, dissemination and adaptation of technical aids and welfare technology solutions
- Participation in " Preventive group meeting" for the elderly
- Create and coordinate responsibility group meetings and IP
- Interdisciplinary cooperation internally in the municipality, and with other support agencies
- Plan, implement, document and evaluate targeted occupational therapy measures based on the user's needs and values
- Provide guidance, training and information to users, relatives, colleagues and
students
- The position is part of the municipality's dementia team
Qualifications
- Norwegian authorization as an occupational therapist
- Desirable with experience from the municipal health service
- Desirable with experience of working with children and young people under the age of 18
- Desirable with experience of dementia
- Must have good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian
- Requirement that a police certificate is submitted before starting, and that forms for confidentiality and tuberculosis are answered upon appointment
- You must have a driving license for a passenger car (class B)
- Valid work and residence permit in Norway
