We are looking for a lecturer to be based at the research subject Process Metallurgy, which belongs to the Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering. Work tasks The work as an assistant professor means that you work with tasks related to research at the subject process metallurgy. This may include conducting laboratory experiments, assisting in setting up experiments, compiling experimental data and writing technical/scientific reports. Skills and experience You should be enrolled in the MSc program in Sustainable Process and Chemical Engineering and have completed at least 9 semesters. You should be able to demonstrate good study results in courses relevant to the degree. Strong emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Conditions of employment Employment as a lecturer is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 5. Only those who have been admitted to first- or second-cycle education may be employed as a lecturer (HF Chapter 5 §10). Hourly salary/remuneration Individual salary setting based on experience. Information about the position The position is 50% of full-time, i.e. an average of 2.5 days per week for 6 months, from April 14, 2025 to October 13, 2025 or as agreed. The place of employment is Luleå. The workload may vary over time and by agreement, but the aim is to distribute it in a way that makes it compatible with studies at the university.
