If you are a person who likes to work proactively, if you want to be responsible for managing, running and developing the University's information management, then you could be the person we are looking for. Our team at the Archives and Registry consists of dedicated employees who work in various ways to develop the university's information management and create the conditions for long-term information management with authenticity, reliability, integrity and usability. The Archives and Registry is part of the University Chancellery and we belong to the University's joint operational support. Your mission We are looking for an archivist to strengthen our team in the field of information management. You will have the role of an information management specialist and will contribute to the management of the University's physical and electronic archives. The position also includes participating in development projects and providing internal training. Examples of tasks: - Manage the University's archival holdings both analog and digital - Listing incoming archival deliveries - Investigate, update and manage the University's classification structure with document types and ensure that there are updated information management plans - Investigate and apply thinning, conduct preservation and thinning studies - Implementing e-archiving deliverables, including investigation, requirements definition and extraction - Provide support to the business on information management issues - Participate in the establishment of governing documents and working procedures on information management Qualifications required You must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 60 HP in Archives and Information Science. You should have at least one year of experience working as an archivist or similar. It is an advantage if you have: - Experience of working with information management in public administration and good knowledge of the Freedom of the Press Act, the Freedom of Information and Secrecy Act, GDPR, the Archives Act and the National Archives' regulations. - Experience of information management and archiving at a higher education institution - Good understanding and experience of working with digital information management - Experience of inventory work according to both the general archive scheme and activity-based archive accounting - Experience of preservation and culling surveys - Experience of working with improvement work and development projects - Good knowledge of information security work As a person, you are analytical and solution-oriented. You work independently and find ways forward where there are not always given frameworks. You have excellent interpersonal skills and can easily communicate archival issues with people who lack your professional expertise. You are happy to share your knowledge and place great value on finding solutions together with others. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
