The research topic Entrepreneurship and Innovation covers organizational development with a particular focus on business development based on innovative products, services and production solutions, as well as ways of managing and organizing operations. The research group collaborates with large national and international companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), policy makers and other research groups. Research results are produced in close collaboration with industry and other stakeholders. The research subject has a strong track record of publications in top journals. Subject description Entrepreneurship and Innovation covers organizational development with a particular focus on business development based on innovative products, services, production solutions or ways of managing and organizing the business. Work tasks The tasks include developing an own research area in digitalization and artificial intelligence, initiating national and international research projects, supervising students and doctoral students, and participating in undergraduate education. Eligibility To meet the requirements for employment as an Associate Senior Lecturer, the applicant must - have a doctoral degree, or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree Priority should be given to those who have obtained a doctoral degree no more than five years before the application deadline. If there are special reasons, the doctoral degree may have been obtained earlier. Special reasons are defined as leave of absence due to illness, parental leave, clinical service, positions of trust, or similar circumstances. Assessment criteria The following assessment criteria apply to the position: - Scientific excellence - Other assessment criteria Other assessment criteria (assessed in descending order) - Documented scientific competence in innovation and/or entrepreneurship through high impact journal publications - Teaching skills - Teaching within the current employment framework is conducted in English and Swedish. Therefore, knowledge of both languages is an advantage. - Research in digitalization, artificial intelligence, business model innovation and servitization is an asset. - Proven competence in securing or being part of external funding applications Duration of employment The position includes a fixed-term full-time position for 4 years. Promotion to Senior Lecturer The purpose of the employment is to give the teacher the opportunity to develop his/her independence as a researcher and to merit himself/herself both scientifically and pedagogically in order to fulfill the requirements for eligibility for a position as a senior lecturer. An Associate Senior Lecturer shall, upon application, be promoted to Senior Lecturer and an appointment until further notice if he/she is qualified for an appointment as Senior Lecturer, and is assessed as suitable for such an appointment according to the assessment criteria stated below. During the assessment, the associate senior lecturer must have completed a course in higher education pedagogy equivalent to 7.5 credits or have acquired equivalent knowledge in some other way. During the period of employment, the associate senior lecturer must also have contributed independently, to a considerable extent and with high quality, to the university's research and demonstrated good teaching skills.
