We are now looking for a coordinator for the topic Construction. Building construction is very important to the function and safety of the built environment, and is also at the center of green transition by providing support in the design of sustainable structural solutions. The research subject building construction at LTU has, for the past 40 years, worked in a very close relationship with the national construction industry, led several national and international research projects and is also responsible for LTU's largest construction testing laboratory. As the subject's coordinator, you will be placed at the Department of Civil Engineering and Natural Resources on the subject of building construction. The coordinator will assist the subject representative with the coordination of activities and participate in and plan subject activities. The duties include coordinating meetings, visits, fairs and seminars as well as coordinating and arranging national and international conferences/seminars/workshops and assisting in the production of marketing materials as well as being responsible for the subject's website. As a coordinator, you will also help with activities within student recruitment and education administration. You will also work practically in coordinating, implementing and following up activities within various research projects. Qualifications For the position, education at university level or equivalent is required. We assume that you have a few years of relevant work experience with coordination as your main task. We would like for you to have experience working with administration and marketing. We are looking for someone who is easy to collaborate with, flexible and enterprising, easy to make contacts and take initiative. We also place great value on the ability to work independently, as well as to plan and organize. As we work in both Swedish and English, you need to have a good command of these languages, both spoken and written.
