Welcome to the Education and Research Planning Unit. The unit belongs to the central operational support under the Department of Planning and Finance and is responsible for ensuring well-functioning decision support for management and faculty boards in matters relating to education and research. We are now looking for an administrator with a focus on education issues. We are looking for you who want to work with qualified investigation, analysis and processing work. You will mainly be involved in cases related to educational issues at undergraduate and graduate level, such as revisions of curricula and program offerings. Cases related to the follow-up of education and other assignments within the field of activity may also arise. The administrator role includes administrative tasks such as continuous quality assurance of procedures and guidelines and a constant focus on quality improvement measures. You will have an advisory role in your area of responsibility towards our institutions. Qualifications We are looking for candidates with a university degree of at least 180 credits and some years of relevant professional experience. Experience in advanced administrative work such as planning, investigation and follow-up of activities in the higher education sector is an advantage. A second-cycle degree, experience of postgraduate education or of working with educational databases would also be an advantage. The position requires good communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. The ability to communicate and adapt the language to the recipient is important. The work places great demands on analytical ability, accuracy and structure. You are expected to be able to cooperate well with your immediate colleagues, representatives of the institutions and other functions, and to take responsibility for your own cases. In addition, you should have good service and treatment in focus. The pace of work can vary throughout the year and requires a good ability to quickly understand complex situations and problems. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. Scope and location The position is a permanent full-time position located in Luleå with access during the summer of 2025.
