We are looking for you who want to strengthen Luleå University of Technology's attractiveness to the target group of prospective students through events and communication on the web and in social media. As a unit manager, you will have the chance to shape and drive initiatives that help future students find their way to us. Your mission You will be the leader of a dedicated team of around 10 employees who work with events and communication in several channels. Together you are responsible for increasing the university's visibility and attracting prospective students through: - Events: such as open days, education fairs and study visits. - Digital presence: Active communication on the web and social media such as Instagram and TikTok. - Innovative solutions: Exploring the possibilities of AI, CRM systems and web development to achieve our goals. In this role, collaboration is key. You will work closely with university management and other departments to create a coherent strategy for student recruitment. The department also includes the Communication and Branding unit with about 20 employees and together you run branding campaigns, direct marketing and other initiatives that strengthen the university's brand. Qualifications We are looking for a committed and visionary leader who: - Has managerial and leadership experience and a strong ability to drive development forward. - Is structured, strategic and has an ability to create and implement long-term plans. - Have an academic degree preferably in marketing or communications, and preferably experience in the higher education sector and in attracting students. - Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. We believe that you are driven to inspire others, both by innovating and translating ideas into concrete results. You are skilled at building relationships, communicating clearly and collaborating effectively - in both Swedish and English. Your leadership is characterized by responsiveness, humility and an inclusive approach. You are also businesslike, decisive and used to managing multiple projects simultaneously with methodology and clear communication. Scope and location The position is a full-time, permanent position, based in Luleå. Probationary period may be applied. Start date according to agreement.
