The research subject of industrial marketing plays an important role in all the university's business programs, as well as in the Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management. Subject description
Industrial marketing encompasses the activities and processes of creating, communicating and delivering value to customers and other stakeholders. This includes marketing between organizations and their customers with respect to goods, services and information. Marketing across international borders and in digital channels are areas of particular importance to the subject, as are services marketing, tourism and branding.
Duties and responsibilities
The tasks will mainly consist of teaching. You are expected to plan and implement lectures, seminars and other forms of teaching in marketing, strategy and international business courses, both independently and in teams. Grading of coursework and exams is part of the job. Supervision of Bachelor's degree projects may also be included. You are also expected to follow developments in the subject and participate actively in program and course development, as well as in meetings and activities of the subject, the division and the department. Contributing to various research projects may also be part of the position.
Qualifications
To meet the requirements for employment as a lecturer, the applicant must
- have a university degree of at least 180 credits or equivalent
- demonstrate teaching skills.
You should have a degree in business administration with a specialization in marketing, international business or a related subject. An advanced degree (master's or magister) is an advantage, as is previous teaching experience at university level.
In the selection of candidates, we attach great importance to your personal qualities and your ability and potential for teaching. Applicants should be meticulous and have good initiative and communication skills. It is important that you can cooperate in a team but also work independently. Research and teaching take place in an international environment where understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity is important. As the position involves English as the language of instruction, you must have a very good knowledge of English.

The position is a fixed-term position of 12 months with access according to agreement. The position is located at the Department of Business, Technology, Arts and Society on the university campus in Luleå.
