We are now looking for a number of library assistants with hourly pay for our university library in Luleå with the task of keeping the library open evenings during the week, Monday - Thursday, as well as daytime on Saturday and Sunday during the semester. Tasks are to help visitors with their questions, show the self-help area, be visible and available in the premises. Important tasks are also to keep the room in order, set up and pick up books on shelves and more. We are looking for you who can work in the fall of 2025. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a student at Luleå University of Technology or studying library and information science at another university. It is important that you have a good command of the Swedish language and can communicate well in English. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for you who take great responsibility for your work tasks, have a good attitude and are careful. You work well in a team but also have the ability to work independently. Scope and location: Hourly position as needed during the semester, usually 4-6 hours/week, as scheduled at the University Library in Luleå. There is some flexibility in the schedule to make it easier to combine work with studies. Hourly wage/compensation 171 SEK/hour. In addition to hourly compensation, vacation compensation is paid according to the Vacation Act. Start time August 2025, or as agreed.
