About the position
We are now looking for a Management Coordinator to join the Coordination and Management Support Unit, which provides support to the University management. In the role of Management Coordinator, you work as qualified management support to the Vice-Chancellor, who is also the head of authority, for Luleå University of Technology.
As a management coordinator, you will be responsible in particular for:
- Provide close support to the Vice-Chancellor by compiling documentation, developing agendas and managing meeting forums chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, including taking minutes.
- Capturing what is said and decided at the various meetings of the Principal and then communicating any need for action to those concerned and following up on the progression of actions.
- Acting as an extension of the principal, which usually means working in the background, but sometimes means representing and promoting the principal's will.
- Formulate and create high quality presentation materials and other texts for the Principal
- Supporting the Rector in targeted communication, including social media.
- Accompany the Rector as administrative support on a selection of trips within Sweden.

Qualifications
- Academic degree that we consider relevant to the position, or equivalent acquired experience that is deemed equivalent.
- Ability to work in a structured manner and with a high level of accuracy.
- Good communicator and has good written and spoken communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- Responsible, unpretentious and high personal integrity.
- Ability to provide good service and offer good hospitality.

Scope and location
The position is a full-time permanent position based in Luleå. Probationary period may be applied. Appointment of service takes place according to agreement.
