Do you want to lead projects that contribute to sustainable societal development and strengthened collaboration between universities and the outside world? Do you have experience of running complex projects in collaboration with external actors? The External Funding, Innovation and Collaboration unit is now looking for a project manager with the task of developing and implementing collaborative initiatives in interaction with researchers, authorities, companies and civil society.
About the unit
The External Funding, Innovation and Collaboration unit is the university's support for research funding, utilization, innovation promotion and collaboration. Within the Collaboration team, we work to build long-term relationships and develop collaborations that contribute to knowledge exchange, skills supply and innovation power - regionally and nationally. We work closely with the university's teachers, researchers, departments and management, and with a wide range of external stakeholders. The projects we run aim to meet current societal challenges and create concrete benefits.
About the role
As a project manager in the Collaboration team, you will have a central role in initiating, running and following up projects in collaboration and external funding. You will lead the work in close collaboration with internal and external partners - from idea to implementation and results. The role includes:
- Lead and coordinate multi-actor and multi-stakeholder projects
- Contribute to developing structures and processes for collaboration
- Work on planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting
- Contribute strategically to strengthening the University's role as a societal actor
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- University degree with relevant specialization
- Understanding of cooperation issues and public activities
- Very good communication skills in Swedish and English
- Good administrative and analytical skills
Merits are:
- Experience from working in academia
- Knowledge of external project funding
Personal qualities
You are proactive, structured and responsive. You thrive in the borderland between idea and implementation and find it easy to build relationships and create commitment. You are strategic in your thinking and practical in your actions - and have a genuine interest in collaboration as a tool for social development.
Scope of the post
The position is a permanent full-time position with access according to agreement. Probationary period may be applied. Location is at our workplace in Luleå.
