We are now looking for a research advisor with special responsibility for the university's work with research infrastructure. About the unit The unit External Funding, Innovation and Collaboration is LTU's support for research funding, utilization, innovation promotion and collaboration with the surrounding society. We work closely with the university's management, departments and other support functions - as well as with public and private actors nationally and internationally. About the role LTU's research infrastructures are a central part of our research strategy. As a research advisor with a focus on infrastructure, you will play a key role in: - Drive and develop the establishment, organization and operation of LTU's research infrastructure according to the university's guidelines. - Be an active member of HURFI (Administrator for the University Reference Group for Research Infrastructure) - Work strategically to identify and position LTU in national and international infrastructures, in close dialog with management and researchers. - Support researchers in applications for establishment, funding and partnerships, including collaboration agreements and long-term operational and funding plans. - Contribute to making infrastructure available internally and externally, including price model, booking system and user support. - Make the work with LTU's research infrastructure visible, both on the Researcher Web and on LTU's external website, in collaboration with communication and operational support. - Follow up and evaluate the activities, and contribute to the development of professionalization work on infrastructure at LTU. The role involves close collaboration with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (incoming chairman of URFI), researchers, departments, the Rector's Council for Research Infrastructure and other support functions within LTU. You will also be an important part of the internal development work within FOINFRA and in national dialogues on staffing and future investments in research infrastructure. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: - Academic degree in relevant field - Experience of working with research infrastructure or related issues in academia, public sector or industry - Good understanding of the research funding system and national/international infrastructure initiatives - Ability to formulate strategic plans, analyze needs and develop sustainable structures - Very good communication skills in Swedish and English Meritorious are: - PhD degree - Previous work in research consultancy or project management - Experience in evaluation or management of research infrastructures - Experience of application and project work within Horizon Europe or similar programs Personal qualities We value that you are structured, responsive and have a solution-oriented approach.
