About the role: The role of NIS/GIS engineer is for those who want a challenging role in a team with broad expertise. In order for electricity network companies to be able to plan, monitor, control, maintain and make strategic decisions for the electricity network, it is important that everyone has access to the right information, regardless of where in the life cycle the network object is located. As a NIS/GIS engineer, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for ensuring that Luleå Energi Elnät's network information is of good quality and up-to-date. The role includes, among other things, managing our continuous documentation work in connection with new and rebuilding of the electricity network, case management, digital map and schedule management, technical plant register and, together with others, ensuring that we reflect the operating situation in dpPower based on the actual operating situation in the network. You will also ensure that the documentation documents meet the set quality requirements and, over time, also provide support in documentation-related cases and systems, as well as identify improvement opportunities and contribute to our process development. Qualifications: We are looking for you who have a relevant university or college education with a focus on NIS/GIS. It is advantageous if you have experience of practical professional work in NIS/GIS, or CAD. Experience/knowledge of documentation work, case management or database management is also an advantage. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and a B driving license is a requirement.
