Your role As an Operations Engineer, you will be involved in how we operate and build the electricity network to comply with laws, regulations and technical guidelines. You will; - be responsible for analyzing and setting up relay protection functions in daily operations - bring your knowledge to the project implementation - act as technical support in procurement The emphasis is on developing relay protection settings, establishing and following up on the protection maintenance plan, configuring relay protection, and establishing and following up on the selective plans developed. Some troubleshooting in the field occurs together with our service technicians but also contact with internal / external representatives. You will also work with quality assurance in processes, routines and technology standards for a sustainable electricity network in the future. In time, you may be part of the emergency response team at Network Operations as a Duty Electrical Operations Manager (VHE). VHE is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the electricity network together with the control center technician for monitoring, planning and troubleshooting in our control center. We are looking for you We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in Electrical Power and you have a couple of years of experience in relay protection configuration and functional testing. We also see that you have experience in operations with design and network calculations, selective plans or have other equivalent experience from analysis work in electric power plants and control room work. If you have experience from another electricity network company, we see it as an advantage. B-driving license and good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement. Within the department there is the Operation & Maintenance unit, we are nine employees who together are responsible for ensuring that our network meets the requirements of laws and regulations and that the electricity we supply has the correct quality.
