Your role We are growing in power trading due to new customer needs and markets and now need to strengthen our team with a Portfolio Manager. Your main tasks: - Responsible for ongoing client advice and execution of hedging for large corporate clients. - Responsible for follow-up and preparation of relevant reports - Participate in sales work towards potential customers - Contribute to the development of Mälarenergi's customer offering to large corporate customers - Participate in the execution of trading on the financial electricity market and other existing markets - Business intelligence - follow and analyze developments in the energy market and other relevant markets, e.g. fuel markets We are looking for you For this position, you should have a relevant post-secondary education and a few years of relevant experience, such as sales work. You will preferably have experience from banking, insurance or the energy industry. To be motivated in this role, we believe that you have an interest in financial markets and are curious about the electricity market. Business acumen comes naturally to you and you find it easy to read and adapt your communication in a sensitive and educational way to the customer. This role also involves some administration and reporting, which you handle with care. A B driving license and good knowledge of Swedish and English are also required. Trading is based on an understanding of short- and long-term electricity price developments that we communicate internally and externally. With this as a starting point, we support Mälarenergi's operations and our customers to meet strategies and goals linked to the electricity market. We also act as an expert function regarding business development/product development, for example by building up working methods and competence for flexibility resources and trading on the support service market.
