Your role As a Network Developer, you contribute to translating external changes and requirements into solutions in the electricity network business. You drive development work in the grid company in areas such as flexibility, smart grids, the journey towards the role of active system operator, electricity network regulation, adaptation to laws, market solutions, price models and new technology. You drive change management in the grid business by implementing the solutions in the business. Together with the team and in collaboration with the rest of the department, you create solutions so that we can plan the electricity network infrastructure as efficiently as possible to meet future customer needs and external changes. Your main tasks will be - Business intelligence and networking on grid planning, grid expansion, market solutions, non-traditional solutions to provide grid capacity and financing to meet customers' power needs. - Develop and implement non-traditional solutions (such as regulations, contracts, market solutions, pricing models and new technologies) in the short and long term with a focus on technology issues. - Assess the impact of non-traditional solutions on power demand. - Contribute to work on network planning principles and in particular on approaches to non-traditional solutions. - Contribute to the work on our network development plan. - Contribute to the work on our revenue framework and ensure that we follow and optimize our revenue regulation. - Drive and participate in technical and economic investigations. - Inspire, communicate and drive change management. We are looking for you For this position, we would like to see that you have an academic education in the field of technology or energy or other relevant education for the position. Work experience with development issues in electricity network operations or authorities in market solutions, rule development, agreements, price models, new technology or revenue regulation is an advantage. You are a driven and independent problem solver who can identify a problem and take responsibility for finding a solution with the team as a sounding board. You understand the importance of finding solutions that are sustainable and can act at the interface between technology and finance. Experience of project and process work is an advantage. This is who we are, your colleagues The Development unit consists of four employees who work together on the development of contracts, services and solutions to meet customer needs and expectations. The solutions implemented in the electricity network operations also contribute to more efficient planning and operation of the electricity network. The unit also works to establish pricing principles in accordance with the requirements of electricity network regulation and the company's overall objectives. The unit is responsible for conducting business intelligence and change management to meet short- and long-term power needs. It is also part of the unit's responsibility to conduct advocacy work in political and industry-specific contexts within the areas of responsibility. The Development unit, together with the Planning unit, are the units that belong to the Network Development department. The department's main responsibility is to develop contractual forms, strategies, philosophies and overall guidelines for the electricity network infrastructure to meet future needs and external changes. The department is responsible for the investment budget in order to ensure a balance between the investment budget and the ongoing costs of providing network capacity in relation to electricity network regulation. The department also participates in investigations, responds to referrals and consultations to influence and follow the development of the regulatory framework in the industry regarding meeting the power demand.
