Nammo Raufoss is looking for a committed buyer to strengthen its purchasing team. As a senior buyer in Nammo Raufoss, you will be part of a team of 20 people who work internationally with procurement for Nammo's business within defense and aerospace. Procurement for the defense industry has strict requirements for compliance with specific laws and regulations.

To ensure good procurement processes and procedures, the procurement team contributes to our project/program office in the early phase of preparing offers for our projects. As a senior buyer at Nammo Raufoss, you will be an important contributor to the further development of the purchasing function, where you work in close collaboration with internal customers and our suppliers nationally and internationally. You work independently, but with good support from the rest of the purchasing team.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Responsibility for establishing selected suppliers/categories.
• Purchase of services/indirect procurement.
• Execute orders.
• Ensure regulatory and customer/downstream requirements.
• Ensure continuation of terms of purchase and ethical guidelines (CSR/SCP).
• Active in the purchasing process by conducting negotiations and preparing contracts and agreements.
• Follow-up of deliveries through systematic and proactive measures.
• Assist with awareness and compliance with procurement routines.

Education and experience:

• Economic or technical education.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Can show good results from previous employers.
• Experience from commercial and legal establishment of contracts.
• High oral and written level in Norwegian and English, desirable with German.
