Nammo is an international industrial company that develops and delivers world-class high-tech defense products. We are growing rapidly and are now looking for business-oriented project managers with high implementation skills.

To succeed in the position, you are independent and work structured and efficiently. You are passionate about project management as a profession, you understand financial management and enjoy leading people. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and closing our development and production projects. This involves extensive collaboration with internal and external professional environments, customer contact and financial responsibility.

Ballistics, thermodynamics, electronics, chemistry and materials technology are some of the disciplines included in our projects. Knowledge of one or more of these areas is an advantage, but there is no requirement for in-depth knowledge as a project manager. Training will be provided.

There are currently various project manager roles we are seeking to fill:

Project managers product development

  • Development of new products based on known technology (Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5-8)

Project managers technology development

  • Maturation of new and unknown technology with the goal that the technology can be included in product development (TRL 2-5)

Project managers production and delivery projects

  • Management of a production project, including responsibility for product, including maintenance, customer contact and sales (Manufacturing Readiness Level 8-10)

Qualifications:

  • Higher education at preferably bachelor's or master's level in subjects such as economics, management, innovation or technical subjects
  • Relevant project management experience can compensate for lack of formal education
  • Solid interest in technical, interdisciplinary issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of risk management is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Prince2 and/or LEAN as a methodology is an advantage
  • Experience from manufacturing is an advantage
  • Fluent Norwegian and English, written and spoken

Personal qualities:

  • You work well both independently and in collaboration with others and have a high level of personal integrity / sense of responsibility
  • You enjoy acquiring new knowledge and are happy to share it
  • You communicate well and make the necessary decisions
  • You have good leadership skills and are able to build good relationships
  • You have good digital skills and are familiar with the use of project tools, such as Jira
