Nammo plans to establish Rocket Motor Manufacturing and Engineering Capability in Florida, USA. Related to this establishment, build-up of competence, including competence transfer from Nammo Raufoss, will be essential. To handle this task, Nammo is looking for a Project Manager with project management experience, preferably from international projects, to secure that all activities related to competence transfer are executed successfully. 

The Project Manager will be responsible for project progress and cost follow-up and must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. We are looking for a team player able to work across cultural and linguistic differences. The person must be able to adjust work time somewhat to American time zones and some travel to the US is required. 

The Project Manager will be organized within the Aerospace Propulsion business unit and will report to the overall Project Manager. The Competence Transfer Project Manager will be part of the overall Project Management Team. The position will, for the right person, represent interesting career opportunities.

Main Tasks

• Coordinate establishment and execution of training of personnel in cooperation with HR at Nammo Raufoss, and in the US
• Establishment and updating of plans
• Cost follow- up of the project
• Ensure that relevant law and regulations in the US and Norway are known, understood and taken into account 
• Make sure relevant mobility packages are established, both for US personnel residing in Norway, and for Norwegian personnel residing in the US
• Manage practicalities related to personnel relocation in co-operation with HR

Qualifications

• Relevant experience from project management, ideally in a cross-border or multi-national setting
• MSc/BSc with project management, technical or business focus, demonstrable equivalent experience in lieu of formal higher education will be considered
• An MBA or specialized certifications in project management would be beneficial
• Experience from manufacturing/industry
• Knowledge of and/or experience in development and transfer of competence
• Knowledge of and/or experience in building organizational culture
• Full professional fluency in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written
• Experience from US workplace culture will be an advantage
