The Procurement and Logistics department at Nammo Raufoss is responsible for operational/strategic procurement and transportation/logistics. We are now looking to strengthen the department with a Logistics Coordinator with understanding and expertise in international shipments. As Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient logistics processes. You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring outbound goods and assisting with inbound deliveries. The position will report to the Transport and Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Planning and coordination of flow of goods from production to customer.
• Support function for purchasing, warehousing and planning for logistics needs.
• Extensive contact with international customers and suppliers.
• Follow-up of transport suppliers and ensure timely delivery.
• Handling logistics-related inquiries and problems.
• Collaboration with other departments to ensure optimization of internal and external flow of goods at the company.

Qualifications:

• Education and/or relevant experience from international transport/logistics.
• Requires good communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and oral
• In-depth knowledge of customs transactions and transport of dangerous goods.
• Generally good IT skills, experience with Office365 and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable
