Nammo is developing technology for propulsion systems with significantly longer ranges in our products. This technology is based, among other things, on ramjet technology, and requires ground testing to test the technology in relevant conditions. In recent years, Nammo has invested in a modern test facility that can simulate conditions that are relevant for testing engines at high speed.

The test manager will be part of the test center at Bradalsmyra, which consists of 40 skilled employees. They carry out and document a number of tests within environmental simulation, ammunition and propulsion systems/rocket engines.

As a test manager, you will be part of the test center's group for propulsion systems, and together with the project and program manager, you will lead the work in our new high-tech test area. You will be responsible for organizing all testing in the field of ramjet technology, as well as operation and maintenance of the test building. You will get to use your practical and analytical skills, and must be proactive to find good solutions when testing new products. The days are varied as you will be preparing for many different test programs.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Daily allocation of resources for execution of test assignments in accordance with requisition and safety instructions
• Practical and daily follow-up of operators, such as planning of work tasks and maintenance
• Continuous follow-up of HSE activities and quality deviations
• Be an active contributor to the test center's improvement work (LEAN)
• Operate and prepare the test facilities for framework technology
• Ensure that method descriptions and routines are followed and revised
• Participate in the planning and execution of the ramjet department's customer visits and demonstrations

Qualifications:

• Vocational certificate/technical school in mechanics or electrical engineering
• Work experience from mechanics/electrics or other relevant technology
• Practical experience from control engineering is desirable
• Management experience and experience from improvement work can be an advantage
• Candidates with a college/university degree in mechanics/electrics or other relevant technology are also of interest.
