Nammo Raufoss AS wants to strengthen its purchasing team and is now looking for a new proactive and independent buyer. The position is part of a team of around 20 committed employees who work internationally with procurement for Nammo Raufoss's defense and aerospace business.

As a buyer / senior buyer at Nammo Raufoss, you will be an important contributor to the further development of the purchasing function, where you work in close collaboration with internal customers and our suppliers nationally and internationally. You work independently, but with good support from the rest of the purchasing team. Procurement for the defense industry has strict requirements for compliance with specific laws and regulations. You are therefore tidy and structured in your working methods.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Ensuring and following up on requirements, expectations and deadlines when obtaining offers
• Negotiating purchases, agreements and contracts
• Purchasing direct and indirect goods and services
• Complying with regulatory requirements, import/export licenses and customer requirements (flow down requirements)
• Ensure continuation of terms of purchase and ethical guidelines
• Dialogue with suppliers and internal customers
• Follow-up of deliveries through systematic and proactive measures

Education and experience

• Higher economic or technical education
• Desirable with relevant experience, but recent graduates are considered
• You have good IT skills and have good knowledge of ERP systems
• High level of oral and written Norwegian and English
