Nammo's IT Security department is looking for a new good team player to handle an ever-increasing amount of tasks and challenges related to cybersecurity in our European infrastructure.

About the workplace:

We can offer you an exciting and educational workplace in a young, growing and knowledgeable IT environment. The department has a good and close collaboration with the other departments both in Norway and elsewhere in Europe. Despite the possibility of working from home, we are fully staffed in the office almost every day. We have flexible arrangements to provide a good balance between work and family life.

As an employee, you get to work with exciting systems, standards and, not least, people in a high-tech and unique industry. With us, you will help to further develop our security work within the group, and build the competence portfolio that will secure Nammo for the future.

About you:

We are looking for a reliable, structured and responsible professional who thinks value, quality and security at all levels. You have knowledge of cybersecurity and can participate in daily operations and assessments, but your main strength lies in documenting, systematizing and planning to help the department keep track of all assignments and deadlines. You also like to write and are good at formulating yourself so that you can help us communicate information to our employees. You are tidy, keep a cool head and work in a structured way even when there is a lot going on at once.

You always want to learn more, and are no stranger to attending courses, familiarizing yourself with complex documentation or traveling if necessary to solve a problem. When problems are solved, you are a good supporter and have good abilities to share knowledge with your colleagues both orally and in writing.

Overarching tasks:

  • Responsibility for follow-up of documentation and planning/follow-up of recurring and future tasks.
  • Participate in the daily work of improving, documenting, monitoring and securing our IT systems.
  • Assess and advise on the acquisition and deployment of new IT systems.
  • Operation and maintenance of our security infrastructure.

Education, experience and qualifications:

  • You have a certificate, vocational school or bachelor's degree in IT with a focus on security, possibly compensating relevant experience.
  • You preferably have a few years of experience in operating security solutions either locally or in the cloud.
  • You have general experience with Microsoft technology and cloud solutions.
  • You must be fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
  • You must be able to obtain security clearance at the "SECRET" level.

We offer:

  • Nice colleagues in an inclusive work environment.
  • Good opportunities for learning and development.
  • A work environment with a culture of making each other good.
  • A solid and safe workplace with competitive conditions.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Good arrangements for pension savings, salary and parental leave.
